Entry Fee: $10.00

EVENT DETAILS: The battle moves to the Nintendo Switch! Join us at Just Press Play for our Pokémon VGC (Video Game Championship) Champions Tournament. This is a competitive event following the current Regulation format for Double Battles.

TEAM SHEETS & REQUIREMENTS: All players must provide a team sheet for the event. For a printable team sheet, click here: Printable Team Sheet

Two Sheets Required: You must have one copy for the judges and one copy to show your opponents during the team preview phase.

On-Site Sheets: We will have blank team sheets available at the store to fill out when you arrive.

Equipment: Players are responsible for bringing their own Nintendo Switch (charged!) with Pokemon Champions installed.

CHECK-IN POLICY: To ensure a timely start, all players must be checked in and have their team sheets submitted by 6:00 PM.

Late Arrivals: Any player not checked in or without a completed team sheet by 6:00 PM may still participate, but will be issued a Round 1 Loss.

TOURNAMENT STRUCTURE:

Format: Current VGC Regulation (Double Battles)

Style: 3-5 Swiss Best-Of-1 Rounds (based on attendance)

PRIZES: 100% of the entry fees go directly into the prize pool! The total pool will be paid out as Just Press Play Gift Cards to the Top 4 finishers:

1st Place: 50% of the total pool

2nd Place: 25% of the total pool

3rd Place: 12.5% of the total pool

4th Place: 12.5% of the total pool

PARTICIPATION BONUSES: Every trainer who enters the tournament will receive one Play! Pokémon Prize Pack for participating!
